March 2019 Webinar – Intrapreneurship for Academic Researchers

Presenter - Jacqueline Smith, Associate Vice President of University Initiatives, Arizona State University

The concept of intrapreneurship - starting new initiatives within an existing organization - has been gaining a lot of traction in the private sector as a way to leverage creativity and change from within a corporation. Our guests today have been taking this concept and applying it to higher education at Arizona State University to generate, integrate and accelerate ideas at their institution. They will be sharing lessons-learned and best practices from their experiences, and offering suggestions and engaging in a dialogue about how this way of thinking can be applied to academic research settings, especially in an emerging field such as the Science of Team Science.
